Our Story
Groundsilk was born from a simple belief: beauty should feel lived-in, intelligent, and lasting. We make hair and jewellery for women who move with quiet authority, pieces that belong to your every day, not just your best days.
How it started
I worked across beauty, culture, and community for years and kept running into the same problem: products that photographed well but didn’t live well. I wanted pieces that could hold their shape in real life: on set, on stage, in a meeting, at dinner. Groundsilk is my answer: a studio practice where craft, fit, and longevity come first.

What we make
- Hair: Hand-finished, made-to-order wigs and wefts, constructed for realism and repeat wear. Each unit is machine-stitched by hand to your order using three bundles with either a 6×6 HD Lace Closure or 13×6 HD Lace Frontal. Natural dark brown, silky straight—ready for your stylist to customise.
- Jewellery: 925 sterling silver with a grounded, sensual minimalism. Designed to layer, engineered to last, and finished to feel like second skin.

We’re building a new hair language, one that treats hair like wardrobe. Considered foundations you return to: precise construction, believable density, clean hairlines, and lace you handle with care. No theatrics, just excellent materials and method.
Our approach
- Made to order, on purpose. Small-batch and made-to-order production means less waste and better control of quality.
- Fit first. Head measurements, cap fit, and density are the difference between “nice” and “yours.”
- Repair & longevity. We’d rather maintain what you own than sell you a replacement.
